What happened when VisionRenamer processed 1,000 images?
A full production workflow successfully renamed every image in the batch. Here are the observed results, the test conditions, and the limits of what one benchmark can tell us.
The result
The batch contained approximately 2.0 GB of source images. All 1,000 images received a successful descriptive filename, and 1,000 credits were consumed. The recorded wall-clock time was 12 minutes, 48 seconds, producing measured throughput of 0.8 seconds per image.
The system also reported a 3.3-second average analysis time. That is not the same as wall-clock throughput: images are analyzed concurrently, so several individual analysis requests can overlap.
How the test was run
- 1,000 source images were uploadedThe batch stayed within the enforced 1,000-image VisionRenamer limit.
- The durable rename job processed the queueThe page could be left and revisited while the production job continued.
- All generated filenames were available for reviewIndividual edits and batch tools remained available before export.
- The large export was split into private ZIP partsThe roughly 2.0 GB source set was expected to produce 10 parts under the 250 MiB ZIP ceiling.
- The batch could be downloaded and clearedClearing removes temporary uploads and ZIP artifacts while job, credit, and filename records remain in History.
Why original image quality was not traded for speed
VisionRenamer creates an optimized copy for visual analysis, but that copy is not returned to the customer. The downloadable renamed file preserves the original source bytes, dimensions, format, and quality. The filename changes; the source image does not.
What this benchmark proves—and what it does not
Observed in this run
- 1,000 of 1,000 images renamed successfully
- 12m 48s measured elapsed time
- 0.8-second-per-image throughput
- Large export planning across private ZIP parts
Not implied by one run
- A guaranteed completion time
- Perfect filenames without human review
- Identical performance for every file mix
- A search-ranking guarantee from renamed files
